I'm surprised how much I am gripped by the plot of this story. I was kinda only looking for a simple story with some sexy vampire moments but I am honestly intrigued as to where the mystery of this story is going. A few cliche moments but really I'm okay with that. The dirty talk is a bit painful at times but then dirty talk was never my thing so that could just be me. The characters are much better developed in this book than the first but then the bar really wasn't very high.
