this book really lays down the path for the other books in the series. it skims on some heavy topics, but doesn't delve into them, so just a warning.

the love story is beautiful, heart wrenching, edge of the seat. it hits you right in the guts and makes you think that more twists and turns are coming. it looses a bit of the love story because alot seems to be happening to the two main characters at once, it's a little hard to follow because it's a little cliche, but everything falls into place to get to the end result.

Jacob morgan and Emma wilder do not disappoint. Jacob morgan doing Irish, wow.
highly recommend.

I was looking for a series to sink my teeth into and I have definitely found it. I am upset I waited so long to read this one. Forget sleep, I could not put this book down. There was so much to this story yet it was easy to follow. I loved Finn & Aoife, their passion and strength kept me in the story with all the twists and turns and the grit of the world they live in.

I have listened all of the audiobooks in this series twice now and enjoy it more and more each time and if you are after some MC action, they have a crossover series with the Dark & Dirty MC books.
