I was a bit reluctant to start this book when I finally reached it in the series. I have read each book in order from the beginning, I wasn't sure this book would have the same spunky Spark as the previous books, due to the fact that it was about the parents of the younger McKays I'm used to reading about. but this book clearly set the foundation as to why the Mackay men (and women) are what they are.
Summary; this book begins when a potentially fatal accident sends Carson McKay into a whirlwind of flashbacks of his life lived, where it all started, and the one woman he can't live without. this book is sexy as hell, laughing out loud funny, sad, happy, a tad emotional, and in the end,...... seriously satisfying! This IS my favorite book in this series. The narrator chosen for this series is perfect. Rebecca Estrella is totally on point and in character for this series setting. I highly recommend this book to loads of people, but I also recommend starting at book 1 in the series.
