Book one of a series introduces a young Millie and her two besties as they make a pact to never marry unless specific conditions are met. Fast forward to the first season of these 'Daring Three', and Millie is still adamant to retain her adventurous spirit and the freedoms being a titled well-bred lady of means could be afforded as a spinster...and so begins her story. I liked the plot and its development, the mix of characters and the murder mystery.
The narration was excellent and very complementary to the writing, I was invested in the outcome and look forward to listening to the rest in the series.
