First of all, props to Ray Porter, the narrator. He does an exquisite job with all the voices and subtleties between them (of which there are plenty) ..Show More »and did not disappoint me in my first audiobook.
I would like to recommend this book, and I will. Its complexity, depth, and explorations into the technical aspects of the narrative may turn some listeners away - however, if these things sound good to you, they will be, as they compliment the rest of the narrative and theme construction brilliantly. I won't say anything more for fear of spoiling, except that this book is a prime example of witty and intelligent writing in recent years.
