he Monster Defense Agency demands loyalty, and once you become an agent, the only way out is in a body bag. When Sarah Stone and Robby Young train together at the agency’s academy, sparks fly. And when they are paired as partners, they must muzzle their attraction, or they will face a firing squad. All their pent-up frustration sharpens them into finely tuned monster hunters. Their ability to neutralize entire nests of vampires becomes the stuff of legends. But hunting vampires has its own risks. 

Waking up to blood smeared walls certainly does not instill calm. Quite the opposite, considering I had locked my house up tight with deadbolts, sigils, and safety spells to ward away evil.

When an ancient vampire arrives from overseas, she comes with baggage from a past long before I was born. And she is hell-bent on revenge. Not only are we trying to dodge the monsters, but we are back on the radar of the Monster Defense Agency, and they are pissed.

I am the last of my kind, deemed a monster by the Monster Defense Agency. But the MDA does not understand the hell their duplicity has unleashed. Robby and I are now on our own hunting expedition. Our target: the head of the MDA. Although, it isn’t just one man pulling the strings. It’s a highly complex network that is more like a damn hydra. When you extinguish one, another pops out of the woodwork. Two against an ancient organization that trains monster-killers and that knows all our tricks is even harder than it sounds. 

Robby Young never anticipated meeting his true soul mate on the first day at the Monster Defense Academy, especially considering relationships with other members of the agency are strictly prohibited. When that girl ends up listed as his partner, Robby has to muzzle his wolf to keep her safe.
