Words of Life Bible Study

By: Professor Lee Roy Martin
  • Summary

  • The Words of Life Bible Study podcast brings the Bible to real life situations. It emphasizes the importance of discipleship and spiritual growth in order to meet the challenges of life. Too often, we search for temporary solutions when we should be working on our foundation. Athletes talk about strengthening the “core,” and for the Christian, the core consists of integrity and spiritual maturity. These brief studies are aimed at developing mature believers who are able to respond to any situation because their core is strong in God. Lee Roy Martin is Professor of Old Testament and Biblical Languages at the Pentecostal Theological Seminary in Cleveland, Tennessee, USA. He served as a pastor for 25 years in the Church of God (Cleveland, TN). He also serves as Associate Pastor at Grace Community Church of God in Cleveland with Pastor Kevin Mendel. He is married to Karen Luke Martin, and they have three children and two grandchildren.
