  • S3E1: Our Favorite Albums
    Feb 13 2023

Hey - we found some time to record again!

We're doing our best to get back in the swing of things, and we thought the best way to do it would be to start off light and discuss our favorite albums.

We break down our Top 3 personal favorite albums, what they mean to us, and how they've impacted us. We also toss out some honorable mentions that didn't quite make the cut, but also hold a special place in our lives.

Cindy's favorite album of all time may not come as a surprise. However, Adam's might.

  • S2E8: Beachbody Workouts: Old vs New
    Jun 20 2022

Cindy and Adam FINALLY come back from a long hiatus to critique the differences between the old(er) Beachbody workouts/programs - such as P90X, Insanity, Body Beast, 21 Day Fix, etc. - and the more modern ones such as The Work, 80 Day Obsession, LIIFT4, etc.

They discuss how the older programs were more geared towards a full body recomposition that promoted sustainability, whereas the news ones are about getting a quick, yet perhaps ineffective, workout in geared towards a specific demographic.

They also discuss how the older programs were much safer and did not involve these weird compound movements that seem purposeless, whereas the newer programs seem to struggle to reinvent the wheel.

They then refer to their Instagram polls to get listener input on their opinions of nostalgia and how it impacts millennials specifically.

  • S2E5:Is Baseball Dying?
    Mar 7 2022

In light of the current MLB Lockout, Cindy and Adam discuss the state of baseball in American culture and whether or not it's a sport that has seen its best days.

They talk about why baseball is viewed as boring, what has changed since its previous height from the mid 90's to the early 2010's, what is responsible for the game being so boring, and what can be done to bring it back as a sport people are eager to watch.

They then turn to their listeners' opinion of the game and what they think needs to change in order for it to be, at the very least, watchable.
