  • A Narrative that Matters: Storytelling and Sustainability With Annie Law
    Feb 11 2022

Annie Law is the creator and founder of a multimedia platform and an eco-retailer platform. On top of all of that, she is ONLY 21 years old!

Annie is a first-generation American who derived her work ethic and desire to make a difference, from her parents. As a child, she watched a video depicting the cutting down of trees and the destruction of forests. After asking her parents about making a change, they told her that she could plant all of the trees she wanted if she worked hard enough. So, she worked hard. She started her blog that later became the foundation for ANDWHY. As she shared stories and lessons that were inspired by others, she decided to invite people into her platform to do the same. From there she launched a podcast and magazine which has allowed her to build an amazing team of passionate and creative storytellers.

Her most recent venture is taking on improving the planet. She started Line by Moi as a way to promote sustainably sourced products for purchase. She also uses her platform to promote individual sustainability, which allows a person to be able to contribute to helping the planet. For that reason, a portion of her proceeds goes toward charitable donations for organizations such as One Tree Planet, Mental Health America, UNICEF, and Black Lives Matter. This is just the beginning of this amazing woman’s story, and we are so happy to have her on to share it with us.

    Here's what you'll learn:

    • What motivated Annie Law to start ANDWHY?
    • How did Annie’s journey toward a sustainable business start?
    • Annie shares a small first step everyone can take toward environmental sustainability.
    • Why is it important to prioritize individual sustainability before environmental sustainability?
