    Nicole Fitzpatrick has been called “Mom” to over 2000 children. Her rescues of children from trafficking, abuse, and neglect have taken her to some of the most dangerous areas of Mexico, bravely coming against drug cartels, human traders, pimps and pedophiles. She runs two children’s homes with about 100 children at any given time, and receives calls from authorities daily with cases of more children needing rescuing. Nicole is married to Jason and they have two adult children of their own.

Having had formal art classes starting at the young age of 7, she knew her talents and aptitude for portrait drawing would one day be incorporated into her professional life in some way. A native of Carthage, Texas, Dr. Saxon went on to Baylor University with a particular interest in transforming her lifelong fascination into surgical expertise. Starting in the Fall of 2024 she will be the director of the Dripping Springs chapter of Apogee Schools. Apogee Schools offers a curriculum where students can excel outside of the restraints of larger and more bureaucratic school systems. Apogee Schools will focus on creating strong and balanced children with a wide range of skills and talents that will help them as they move into adulthood. Sarah talks about micro-schools being a growing trend in the US.
