Lesson 19: Gold Plates—Warnings & Witnesses | Mosiah 7-10

  • Summary

  • The Nephites were given the Jaredite history as a witness and warning to them. Their record was recorded on gold plates and translated by a seer using the Urim and Thummim. Why did Mormon include this translation story in the book of Mosiah? Did Mormon foreshadow the coming forth of the Book of Mormon, in the Book of Mormon?
