  • Chief Warrant Officer Lisa Kachanoski has served in the Canadian Army Reserve for 25 years and this past fall she made history by becoming the first female appointed to Regimental Sergeant Major in the 5th (B.C.) Field Regiment’s 140-year history. She has numerous international deployments to places like Bosnia, Jordan, and Latvia, and she has also participated in domestic deployments such as Op Palaci, to control avalanches in Rogers Pass, British Columbia.
