I’ve been going to Physical Therapy lately - all from my recent surgery & it’s been a tough go, but I’m realizing a few things. First - I’ve come a long way from where I was before the surgery. I’m older now (of course) and there are things that used to come easy to me, but now I need to focus and work harder at. I also was able to have a new “view” while on the table at PT getting treatment. They have these couple of skylights in the ceiling where I get worked on. While laying on my back and looking up through the skylight, I was reminded about being a kid, and it hit me a few different ways - which was really eye-opening for me. Good stuff here from Todd Whitaker (@ToddWhitaker) where he mentions about opening new doors. He shares a great reminder for all of us to take with us - “old ways won’t open up new doors.” It got me thinking about the old adage that if I keep doing things the same way all the time and I expect a different result, that’s really a pathway leading towards losing my mind. I think it’s something I need to take to heart a bit more and look for ways of learning new information about getting things done that I want to get going on. Opening up my mind to see and think differently, in many areas of my life - is something that I know I need to make the choice on & start implementing in my life. Thanks for listening.
