Using movies as game prompts this week Ben and Trev, muddle their way through lots of spaghetti themed games, such as:

• A WaterWorld-esque world where the only remaining enforcement is the coastguard.
• A VR adventure set on the starship Poseidon.
• A vampire adventure based briefly off of 8 Mile.

Some roguelike inspired Click Pitch this week, as Ben and Trevor roll the old RNG and come up with some improvised game designs, such as:

controlling crash test dummies through a Jigsaw-esque set of traps;

stealth based runs as you built your arsenal to become a Predator;

take down a crime syndicate in successive runs while the surviving bad guys become more powerful;

and more!

A long time ago in a podcast far far away...

That's right it's a Star Wars themed episode, Ben and Trev muddle their way through many different game ideas based on the popular Star Wars universe. The games include:

• A Han Solo adventure game
• A Dredge inspired fishing game on Kamino
• A heist style game set on Coruscant

In a rare in-person recording, Ben and Trevor bring back Starch Wars a la Vampire Survivors, then follow up with some Click Pitch, inventing ideas such as:

guessing countries based on their three dimensional flags;

a wig controlling the mind of bald people;

and more!

With Powerjam 2 going on, Ben and Trevor jump into their favourite genre of games, adventure. They use this years prompt to delve into some adventure games and discuss what they would do for a one room adventure game. Some of the ideas involved in the adventure games discussed include:

• The very sweary grandma from all the fairy tales and nursery rhymes is actually the same person who is under house arrest.
• What if the adventure game UI became a real object in the game.
• One guest at the party has a sensory deprivation "helmet" on their head.

Clicking some Pitches, Ben and Trevor improvise some random game designs, such as:

a tense horror game set in an underwater exoskeleton;

a golf game set in a fairy tale universe with visual novel elements;

a kids adventure story exploring a mirror universe called The Back to Front;

and more!

Ben and Trev return yet again to the well that is classic Click Pitch. The games discussed include.

• What if Wash didn't die in Serenity?
• A puzzle game where fire sprites try to set peoples houses on fire.
• A puzzle game similar to The Room but this time it's an apparatus.

This week both Ben and Trevor have their own game ideas to pitch, so rather than using random words they riff on:

a PvE mash up of Hell Divers and Fortnite where you are travelling back in time to gather information;

a storylet driven arcade game with elements of Space Invaders, Missile Command and colony building
