  • Examination of children in ENT clinic
    Feb 17 2022

in the first of the second series we discuss techniques of examination of children with ENT problems in outpatients. This is a topic I find occasionally quite challenging and it is not something that is discussed and taught as much as more surgical aspects of paediatric ENT

I'm joined by David Albert (GOSH), Mike Kuo (Birmingham Children's Hospital) and Neil Bateman (Manchester Children's Hospital) for the discussion. It was recorded in Neil's kitchen in Sheffield towards the end of 2021 after a long day teaching at an emergency airway course in Doncaster.

Apologies for the noise and the excessive giggling. The soundtrack is, as ever, contributed to by Maisie the BAPO dog.

  • How to do a Paediatric airway endoscopy, terrible sound quality and a short contribution from the dog.
    Mar 24 2021

Neil Bateman from Manchester Childrens hospital joins me for our first try at a BAPO podcast for trainees. The sound recording on this one is not great as we were using Zoom and my voice is quite distorted. I had to edit this quite hard with recording software to make it even vaguely bearable. Next time WILL be better I promise!

Neil Batemam from Manchester Children's hosptial and I talk about paediatric airway endsocopy, Maisie the dog made an early contribution but I decided to leave it in
