  • As we are a Louisiana-based podcast, it felt fitting to do this and with the support of the folks at Spotify, we did. Dr. Yevan Terrien is a visiting instructor of Louisiana History and Early American History at the University of Louisiana. We asked about the origins, traditions, and different methods of honoring the holiday, from city to city, and how it's celebrated outside of the United States.
