Loved these books for so many reasons. All the characters were well developed, the many narrators were perfect.
I loved each of the three main characters, Lia, Rafe and Kayden.
They each faced very difficult life changing choices.
The story kept me on the edge right to the last word.
My favourite character was Rafe because of his endurance and commitment. An honourable man.
I was deeply moved by the by the struggle Rafe and Lisa went through. It broke my heart.
I was sad to finish this series. It kept me invested in the story and very entertained.
"Ending Left Me Feeling Horrible"
In terms of narrators, it was very good. I felt on edge and the intensity of emotions throughout.
Very unhappy. If an author writes characters in a way that you grow to love them and want happiness for them, then the reader should get that pay off. The very ending and last chapter even, left me feeling sad and almost empty because it is not what I wanted for the main characters. I wanted more and I wanted to see a bigger glimpse of the future.
Raw emotion, stronger character development.
Again, I would rather write my own ending for this story than have the one I got. There is a better way to end it.
A very lackluster ending to a story i have been following for far too long. The only word i have for this ending is bleh. Glad its over.
Warning, a few spoilers...Well, it was a great read, however, I do wish we could have seen how they worked it out. Also, I was kinda voting for Team Kaden, especially considering where they ended up. But if he didn't get the prize, at least he got someone, and a great someone at that! Kaden deserves a better life after everything. And there are a few other characters I'm curious about. Like Eben and Natiya (not sure if I spelled that right). What are they doing now? Hopefully we will see a novella or two...
"I love The Remnant Chronicles!!!"
Before I ever listened to the audio version of this series, I had read and fell in love with the author's talent and ability to weave a timeless tale that engages the young and the old a like. The audiobook brought the story to life in a ehole new way and it was so fun to listen to. I loved it!
They were all wonderful. I loved the full cast experience for this series. Love basic audible books but enhanced experience to have male and female voices for specific characters.
I will certainly recommend this series to fellow readers.
"The Deception Continues!!!"
Uniting Against Evil
Their voices were excellent and perfect to depict those characters
Soldier, Leader, Traitor?
The final book in The Remnant Chronicle series is over and I am happy (such a GREAT series), devastated (I will miss the characters & narrators) and I still want more of Lia and Rafe! The narration by Emily Rankin, Ann Marie Lee, Ryan Gesell, Kirby Heyborne, Kim Mai was superb! The voices of Caden, Lia, Pauline, Rafe and the mystical gods foretelling the future just made the book that much better and this book was superb! I found my self listening all the time and then waking up thinking about all the drama, the continued machinations of the evil Vendan Comisar and all the betrayals these different characters had to suffer but work together to forge forward to unite against evil that was so deeply ingrained in a kingdom. But Lia, Rafe, Caden and Pauline do not disappoint as strong protagonists!!! A Highly recommended & favorite series & glad I could not get to it as each book was published- it was awesome jumping from Kiss of Deception to The Heart of Betrayal and finally The Beauty of Darkness!!!
I simply fell in love.with audible books through this series. I had listened to a.few others but honestly preferred my own narration as I would if I had simply read the book instead of listening to it. This cast with different voices was exactly what I had hoped an audible book would be like! I listened. I listened as I did my dishes. I listened as I cleaned the barn. It made the chores easier and I found I was able to get my housework done and still find the time to have the enjoyment of books. Wonderful storytelling!
"it says "optional""
Predictable at parts, but overall decent story with clear message/theme. Definitely not meant for adults, too colloquial. Good for high school age.
"The best one yet"
I fell in love with all the characters except Caden in the Kiss of Deception. Fell in love with him in the second book. All three books were well written and narrated. This one blew me away. I loved all the plot twists within the plots. I listened to it almost all the way through on my day off, had other things to do but couldn't put it down. Well worth the money.
"best of the bunch"
This book is by far the best of them all. The author did an amazing job tying the whole story together. it was intense, tear jerking and just beautiful. I am so sad to see this story end. Like any book, it has it's weak points, but a truly wonderful story from beginning to end.
Amazing, from start to finish! Brilliant conclusion to this trilogy. The narration was simply excellent.
"Perfect conclusion to the trilogy"
I really enjoyed the Remnant Chronicles, the first book took a bit of getting into but the second book was absolutely fantastic and this one ties the story up perfectly. The performance is great and the actors really brought the characters to life. I would definitely recommend this series, stick with it if you struggle with book one!
"Not enough hours in the day"
Only reason I put this down was to sleep and to go to work (I was tempted to phone in sick so I didn't have to go in and could listen to the book, but in the end went in begrudgingly) There was times I worried Mary was steering the story to go a way that I would hate it to go but she pulled me back in and the end was great :) loved it!!! (especially the last 5 minutes :) )
