Publisher's Summary

So...as it turns out, I really am Lucifer's daughter. Hell's heir. And - you guessed it - the next queen of the damned. But what if I don't want to rule?

With the imp in hiding and Josh gone from this world, I still wasn't safe. Not by a long shot. Dear ol' Dad didn't just pass on his legacy and mark. He also passed on all of Hell's problems, and that means his enemies are now mine.

Fortunately for me, I have the Four Horsemen, my banshee best friend, and a pissed-off raccoon on my side. But now I have the beast with which to contend. My psychotic, possessive, and downright scary alter ego was dead set on having the Horsemen, not only at my back, but in my bed. As if learning to control the flames of Hell wasn't a hard enough job by itself.

Would it have been too hard for Lucifer to write a handbook before he died?

Contains mature themes.

poor ruby

wicked games by kel Carpenter. Ruby loves her life. and all she wants is for people to leave her alone so she can live it. but because certain people make it their lives mission to try and ruin it, she has no choice but to retaliate, which leaves her with decisions that she really doesn't want to make. the banter between the characters is just chef's kiss

This one has no plot or interesting characters.

This book was almost funny it was so bad. Note to narrator, drop the accents they’re confusing. I get it though, they’re needed to tell who is speaking since all the characters are the same and boring.

Holly Jackson is a great narrator

Only listening because it’s free… it’s not getting better. They are all TSTL! ‘You’re now in even more danger so we CAN’T leave you unguarded anymore, we will never let anyone get to you… except when we dash out for lunch or have other better things to do. No bad guy would be rude enough to wait until we leave you alone to attack you!’ Again and again, and again.

Oh, and she’s in so much danger that we can’t leave her alone (unless we feel like it), but let’s not give a thought to her bff who’s extremely important to her. And yes, the bff still has psycho stalker vibes rather than I’ve got your back and know where to bury the body.

And I’m not 100% sure, but I think the boys can all talk mind to mind over distance… but let’s not call for help when our precious & one of said boys has been ambushed, out numbered and have been clearly told this is going to be really bad.

While all the boys are focused on getting their dicks wet and being the first of the mates and the next of the mates and I wanna be the mate… when they all know it will further endanger their precious at this point… but I wanna!

And… so much more… think I’ll give the next to books a break.
