Publisher's Summary

Adam Mulvaney lives a double life. By day, he’s the spoiled youngest son of an eccentric billionaire. By night, he’s an unrepentant killer, one of seven psychopaths raised to right the wrongs of a justice system that keeps failing.

Noah Holt has spent years dreaming of vengeance for the death of his father, but when faced with his killer, he learns a daunting truth he can’t escape. His father was a monster.

Unable to ignore his own surfacing memories, Noah embarks on a quest to find the truth about his childhood with the help of an unlikely ally: the very person who murdered his father. Since their confrontation, Adam is obsessed with Noah, and he wants to help him uncover the answers he seeks, however dark they may be.

The two share a mutual attraction, but, deep down, Noah knows Adam’s not like other boys. Adam can’t love. He wasn’t born that way. But he refuses to let Noah go, and Noah’s not sure he wants him to.

Can Adam prove to Noah that passion, power, and protection are just as good as love?

Unhinged is a fast-paced roller-coaster ride of a romance with an HEA and no cliff-hangers. It features a dirty-talking, possessive psychopath and a sweet cinnamon roll of a boy with daddy issues and a core of steel. There’s gratuitous violence, very dark humor, enough steam to fog up a hundred car windows, and something a lot like love. This is book one in the Necessary Evils series. Each book follows a different couple.

Worth every cent.

This was fantastic. With such harsh reality topics this could have been a horribly depressing story but instead it was fun and heartwarming while still being quite respectful.
The romance was adorable and the sex was hot and used as much for plot and character development as it was to just have hot sex.
I can not wait for the rest of this serise.

Psychopaths and mayhem, sign me up!

Unhinged is book one in the Necessary Evils series. An MM romance series that follows the seven psychopath Mulvaney brothers and the seven men they want to protect.

Adam is the youngest of the psychopath brothers. After coming face to face with the son of one of his kills everything changes for him.

Noah is sweet and cute. An adorable little cinnamon roll on the outside. But behind closed doors he’s a masochist. Which pairs perfectly with Adam’s possessive need to claim and mark Noah as his.

This series gives off criminal minds vibes with how the team works and handles the job they complete and the nature of the crimes they punish.

There are also kinks galore in this booo including: praise, breeding, spanking, submission and bondage. Which I’m totally here for!

I really enjoyed this read and I’m looking forward to the rest of the Mulvaney brothers Atticus, Aiden, August, Asa & Avi, Archer after Adam’s story.

Instalove romance, would have liked more action!

Noah has spent the last two years tracking down his father’s killer, Adam, the youngest adopted celebrity son of billionaire, Thomas Mulvaney. When Noah confronts Adam, he find that no one is who they seem. I loved the concept of a family of psychopaths dispensing vigilante justice, but I was slightly underwhelmed by this - it’s instalove romance first and foremost with very little action and nearly all the violence is off-page, so not a ‘dark’ romance. While there were some sizzling sex scenes, there is a glaring logical fallacy: psychopaths by definition are callous and unemotional, incapable of love. Yet Adam felt sympathy for Noah, protective of him, got angry with those who hurt Noah, and wanted to be with him forever - it was love in all but name. Adam would be better labelled a sociopath, but was not convincing as either. If you can look past that, it’s an intriguing mystery with serious child abuse themes. I enjoyed Liam DiCosimo’s audio narration, I think he was exactly right for the tone of this story.
