Comprehensive

Great book, plenty of detail (almost too much), a one stop shop for anything in the ultra running domain. Great resource for future reference.

A must for endurance runners

So much to learn if you are serious about running long distances. I’ve completed two 100kms trail run events in 2022 and 2023 and wished I had read this first. I’m just an average mid-aged working mother who likes the challenge of running at ease, and the beauty and fun of running in nature. I’m not a fan of listening to facts but this book has the right balance of researched, evidence informed materials and real life experiences. Such a comprehensive book that has given me greater confidence to make my own training plan and know I’ll do better in my next ultra trail event. Thank you

Bitter recycled summary.

Personal attacks on credible sources always undermine the speaker, especially when they are misquoting the person they criticise.
