Story
In this audiobook version of Why Should I Be the First to Change?, Chuck and Nancy Missler share the fundamental personal issues that led to the crises in their marriage and recounts the healing of a troubled Christian marriage from the viewpoint of both husband and wife. What makes the Misslers' story so unique is that at the time of their marital crises, they were Christians - not nominal Christians or backsliding Christians but ones who loved Jesus, prayed daily, and were even teaching Bible studies!

Story
Do you have a hard time trusting God? Do you know God loves you? Have you ever felt you were trying, struggling, and fighting just to get through your daily life only to find failure? Do you have a person or family member in your life that maybe isn’t the easiest person to get along with? Our human love is based on what we think, feel, and desire; what our circumstances are; and how another person responds to us. When we allow God's love to dwell in our hearts, his love is unconditional.

During Jeremiah's 40 years of ministry, he never received a hint of gratitude. As one of the most important of the "Major Prophets", Jeremiah is a rich, rewarding study. It is full of surprises, deeply touching episodes, and extremely moving tale. It is also, in many ways, profoundly timely for us today.

Story
We consider some of the most life-changing principles we have encountered since our new birth as Christians. Scripture tells us that we are to "prepare ourselves" for Christ’s soon return. What exactly does this mean? What if we aren’t prepared? What is justification, sanctification, and glorification? Being ready, fit, and prepared will dramatically affect our role, our position, and our place of responsibility in the future millennial kingdom. Chuck and Nancy share not only the Scriptural importance of why we need to be "prepared" but also what we need to do to be prepared.

The Bible tells us that the goal and purpose for every Christian is to be “conformed to the image of Christ”. God wants us to genuinely walk in his agape love, display his wisdom and depend upon his power, not just talk about these things. This audiobook will help you learn how to moment-by-moment renew your mind. No matter what your situation or what you have been through, God will make you more and more like Jesus. What is the mind of Christ? What does it do and how does it work? What are the "hidden chambers" of the temple, and how do they relate to our own inward, secret part?

Story
"Finishing Well" is the name of the game. Here was a rich, young ruler - a first century "yuppie" if you will - who, although getting off to a rather problematic beginning, finished well, indeed. A rich young ruler questioned Christ about what he needed to do to inherit eternal life. Mark's Gospel includes a detail that Matthew and Luke failed to mention: "And Jesus looking upon him loved him..." This hints at the possibility that young John Mark himself may have been that rich young man.

Story
"Luke Volume II", often called "The Acts of the Apostles", completes the "Pentateuch of the New Testament". The traditional title of this book is, in some respects, a misnomer: It primarily deals with the "acts" of Peter and Paul. It really should be called "The Acts of the Holy Spirit". This review will explore the continuing mysteries of Hag Shavuot in Acts 2; the surprises in the history lesson Stephen gives the Sanhedrin in Acts 7; the controversies dealt with in the Council of Jerusalem in Acts 15; and more.
Publisher's Summary
Session 1 - Love of God
Nancy shares the intimate details of her 20-year, stormy marriage and how God turned it around. The secret was learning what His Agape Love is, and how it differs from human love.
Session 2 - Truth of God
In this sequel, Nancy teaches us the practical application of renewing our minds. Only in putting off our fears, anxieties, depression, anger, and unbelief and putting on Christ can we be free to reflect him in all we do.
Session 3 - Spirit Filled Temple
To explain "how" the LOVE of God, the TRUTH of God, and the KNOWLEDGE of God works within each of us, Nancy draws a visual comparison between the architecture of man as the "temple of God" now (1 Cor. 3:16) and the architecture of Solomon's temple way back in the Old Testament. Her conclusions are absolutely fascinating.
Session 4 - Knowledge of God
Speaking from personal experience, Nancy shares the details of her own devastating "night season" - bankruptcy, the loss of their home and friends, a 6.8 earthquake under their rental home, and finally, the unexpected death of her son. She not only tells her own story, but goes on to explain why God allows times like these and what we are to do to get through them.
