In Areté, Brian Johnson integrates ancient wisdom, modern science, and practical tools to, as per the sub-title of the book, help you activate your Heroic potential and fulfill your destiny. If you asked the ancient stoic philosophers how to live a good life, they’d answer you in a single word: Areté. We translate Areté as “virtue” or “excellence” but the word has a deeper meaning—something closer to being your best self moment to moment to moment.

Thanks for the insights, tips and laughs
Will you see this review? If so, thank-you. Thank you so much for producing this book and making it an audio book! I mainly listened when I was driving. if others reading this plan on doing the same, use your "Google create a Note" (or Siri for you Apple people) to take down the chapter and time of a piece that was worth relistening to or writing down once you've stopped driving.
I've so many notes to review and to put into action over the coming weeks/months.

like one long advert
It sounded like I was listening to McDonalds add, it was extremely hard to take in what she was saying due to the way it was narrated, and less try hard funny jokes would have been much better.
I'm sure that a lot of the ideas are good, just hard to listen to.
