Someone will submit to hate, someone will fight, and someone will grab a gun and walk towards the ice rink.

Well I'm crying in my car, so yes it's good
Be very prepared to fall in love, have your heart broken and to find solace in friendship and small acts that change the world.
I envy those who have started the Beartown series you have some wonderful hours of story telling ahead.
I'm looking forward to revisting this series, I just need a minute to regroup

Narrator issue
I loved the first two books and narrator. This narrator comes into book three and pronounced the names differently. And then changes pronunciation again part way through
She really annoyed me compared to the first narrator

Favourite author does it again..
Fredrik Backman is such a beautiful writer and this book does not disappoint. I cannot wait for the next novel!

Insightful and sad
Such beautiful writing. The setting is crystal clear- I am immersed there whenever listening to one of these books. The characters are hauntingly believable.

Be prepared to not recognise characters!
The story is typical, brilliant Backman... but the fact that the narrater pronounces the names so differently really threw me. The first time she mentioned 'Audrey' rather than 'Adri' I literally had no idea who she was talking about. It's a shame the production team didn't do research to ensure consistency with the previous books.

An amazing story
This is a book, whether read or listened to, that needs to be savoured. There are a lot of characters, but like all communities, they have an impact on each other and each story is as important as any other. A wonderful and fitting conclusion to the Beartown trilogy.

More of the Beartown goods
The first two books in this Beartown series were so amazing and left you wanting to know more and more about all these complex characters. The Winners gives you more stories written in the authors quirky way!
