Are we losing our humanity?

This novel really made me think about what it is to be human or not? Twists to the last and a poignant Authors note to boot. Gripping.

Didn’t love it but my god it was clever

This was nothing like JP Delaneys other books which I absolutely devoured and loved. But it was so clever, so whilst I didn’t enjoy it nearly as much, I really appreciated it and couldn’t stop listening. Every time I thought I had figured something out, it would turn on its head once again. It’s not one of my favourites of his, but very well thought out and put together and I couldn’t not finish it. A really interesting concept and I really liked the author’s note at the end with the insight into how aspects were related to the his own family and autism in reality.

Absolutely brilliant!

Another winner by JP Delaney. I wasn't sure if I'd like this book with the A.I. topic but I think this writer could engage me on any topic. I absolutely loved it. The readers did a great job, I enjoyed every minute of this story, it was fascinating.

Awesome twists, turns and open ending

I found this book to be captivating from beginning to end.
I was surprised & saddened by the author’s note at the end of the book that informs the reader of his own experiences.
Definitely worth reading- so glad I used a credit on this one.

Incredible the plot twist at the end was worth it !!

This book struggled to keep my attention because of all the big words and tech stuff but regardless it was brilliant I got very hooked near the end !

5-star psychological thriller

After reading “The Girl Before” I couldn’t wait for JP Delaney’s next book. “The Perfect Wife” does not disappoint, firmly establishing Delaney as one of my all time favourite writers.

Seriously - do not miss this book. Thought-provoking doesn’t begin to describe the way this book will first captivate, and then stay with you, forever.

Captivating and suspenseful

Five stars for originality! This was one of the most unique thrillers I’ve read in a long time.

This was nothing like what I expected - I wont spoil it by revealing the concept.

I can totally imagine this being made into a movie - i'd love to watch.

Loved it! Couldn't put it down

This was my 17th book of 2024 so far and easily one of, if not THE best. And I don't usually love audiobooks so much, so I'm really surprised by how much it captivated me. I know most reviews are positive, but those that aren't - I look back on now after reading - and see that those people just didn't get it. It's clever, thought provoking, and whilst adventurous in it's plotlines - doesn't feel wildly far fetched. Kept me guessing all the way through. This was my first book by JPD and I've just bought another on Kindle, can't wait to read more.
