Publisher's Summary

I was the girl who survived the Nothing Man. Now I am the woman who is going to catch him....

You've just read the opening lines of The Nothing Man, the true-crime memoir Eve Black has written about her obsessive search for the man who killed her family nearly two decades ago.

Supermarket security guard Jim Doyle is reading it too, and with each turn of the page his rage grows. Because Jim was - is - the Nothing Man.

The more Jim reads, the more he realises how dangerously close Eve is getting to the truth. He knows she won't give up until she finds him. He has no choice but to stop her first....

Definitely better on Audible!

Audible gave a much better experience than the book. The performances were fantastic and brought a visceral feeling to the book.

Loved the story and the format of a book in a book.

My only criticism is that I would’ve like to hear more about the “why” from Jim himself, and more about how Katy survived after the whole affair..

But the convergence of the two story lines was climactic and fulfilling.

Looking forward to reading more by CRH!

Love it

Love the voice love the story love that it’s set in Ireland. Also it’s not too yucky with blood and gust and stuff. Beautifully written.

five star crime writer

a brilliant gripping novel in a 'True crime" format. It is also very well narrated. This is an exceptional work and I look forward to her other works.

Thoroughly gripping story

Tight story line that keeps you hanging for the following pages. I approached this book blindly after a recommendation from a friend and damn glad that I did in hindsight.
