Highly Recommend

Superbly written and a masterly performance by the narrator. This story takes you right into the heart of the events that lead up to the new Star Trek Picard series.

Picard the best hope.

Struggled to finish this book. Got bored half way through. Did not enjoy the narrator.

This books has nothing thats not already explained in the show.

The problem with prequels is that there is little mystery. There is no suspense or intrigue in this book because the TV show already told us the ending. This book also erases the last 10+ years of TNG books, I am surprised any self respecting author would write over their own and the colleagues work.

Not recommended to a star trek fan

Not a good story and would not recommend it to any star trek fan. Did capture the star trek essence and was not read well. The fact that there was so much swearing in the dialogue by the characters was very off-putting and un star trek like
