easy listening
I liked listening to it but there were lots of points mid way through the book for references for books and stuff but since I was listening on the go it means I've missed those parts and will struggle to find them again

We get to be the ones that do the vetting!
I almost didn’t read this book because Rikki gives so much value on Instagram that I thought I knew it all 😆
But I found myself nodding and gasping at the warning signals of how we get so easily hooked in to our anxious patterns when we feel hopeful with someone new
I feel excited to start dating and spending plenty of time talking with them about values and building trust BEFORE getting physical
When we are clear on our needs, we get to do our own vetting instead of trying to win them over and get chosen.
Thank you Rikki for all the research you’ve done to help us anxious attachers!
