Story
When Van Tudor returns to his childhood home, he inherits more than the family farm. His grandfather used to tell him fantastic stories of spacemen and monsters, princesses and galactic knights. Little did Van realize, the old man's tales were more than fiction; they were real. Hidden beneath the old barn, Van’s legacy is waiting: a starship, not of this world. With his combat AI, an android bird named Perry, Van takes his first steps into the wider galaxy. He soon finds that space is far busier and more dangerous than he could have ever conceived.

The mission is simple. Escort an emissary to an intergalactic peace summit. Try not to get in the way. Lt. Magnus and his 79th Recon Team have certainly handled worse, after all. Worse still, a dying alien chieftain gives them a priceless drive of intel, marking them for death. The mission has officially changed. With enemies on all sides, Magnus must do everything in his power to protect the emissary and escape the tower.

Publisher's Summary
When a ruthless crime syndicate takes over a declining neighborhood on Razik-doom, Lieutenant Benjamin “Breaker” Wrath is sent to lead a multi-jurisdictional task force.
The Razik Police Department does things just a tiny bit differently, and so do the local criminals. Some things never change, however. Extortion, kidnapping, and murder are the intergalactic languages of lawless bullies, and Breaker knows exactly how far he’ll go to protect the innocent.
But is this just a criminal enterprise, or something more diabolical? When Breaker discovers a new mind control drug, that coincidentally kills non-Raziks, he knows the stakes are even higher than justice for the people of Razik-doom.

Loved the series wish there was more
Really enjoyed all the books in this series but felt like book 4 left it open to another book and yet it seems to be the end. I’m Hoping that one day there will be more to this series.
