Desperate to arrive at the ancient ritual site at the same time, or face disaster, Garion and his friends must defend themselves against Zandramas' armies, led by the Demon Lord on one side of them, and the forces of Emperor Zakath on the other side. To make matters worse, they have no idea where to find the "Place Which Is No More".

"Eddings depicts a complex, believable and colorful society filled with nobles, rogues and common people." (Publishers Weekly)
All in all, this is a beautiful book and the narration is *generally* ok. Certain words, it seems that Cameron doesn't know what the word means so he guesses the pronunciation - take 'quay' for example. Every time he came out with 'kwaaay' it made my teeth ache.
Eddings, however, is a true powerhouse and this 4th instalment of the Mallorean continues a journey 9 books in the making. Fantastic audiobook or paper / e-book. Highly recommend.
can't wait for book 5. gotta go download it and will probably finish before I get another audible credit.
"great! my favorite series."
excellent story -action, adventure, intriguing, romance (not mushy), magic, dragons, and good versus evil.
worth repeat listening.

At the very top
Poledra.. She just is the bomb. I think cause she started out as a wolf. She just "has" it.
He is so talented with the diferent charaters. I really appreciate his talent
The rags. I am glad she didn't remember
This series is a must for serious fantasy buffs. You will really enjoy it
Endings does it once again. The story is building to what I expect to be an exciting crescendo.
"Love the story"
Love the story.
Cameron Beierle reading is fine apart from his mispronunciation of quays , which sets my teeth on edge , and he occasionally seems to be confused with the different voices . Other than that bring on the next instalment.
"Sack Cameron Breierly!"
Will somebody please teach Mr Breierly the purpose of punctuation, especially when appertaining to the spoken word? He needs it!
"Cameron Beierle Does Eddings Justice"
Pretty damn awesome
He always voices Silk or Belgarath so very, very well.
No, split into two halves.
