Sidelined demon summoner Kara Gillian has her hands full when dimensional rifts allow demons to cause widespread panic and destruction on Earth. These aren't the human-tolerant summonables she's known before, but demons from the far reaches of the demon realm. Add three demonic lords with conflicting ambitions to the mix, and Kara has the perfect recipe for global disaster.

I always enjoy this series, however, this addition has blown me away. It has major secret reveals and so much more. What a great setup for the next book. I was a little lost because a lot of characters are called by different names now, but in all honesty by the end I had them all sorted again. (Read the previous book a year ago) so happy for all the clarification. And looking forward to the next one already! :)
"Another Awesome listen."
I am Kara! Loved the story. Was sad for Zac & Ryan, happy for Jill..... looking forward to next book.
"Yet another winner"
I absolutely adore this series, and every time a new book comes out I mourn the fact that I will have to wait a year for the next about halfway through!
I enjoyed this one especially because you actually learn a lot of the motivation on the demonc. How they associate with each other and what they truly are. a must read, but there is more to come.
Anothet great addition to the Kara Gillian series. Can not wait for book 9 to see how Kara pulls off the unthinkable.
"Dragons and kittens!"
My kinda of story, no feeling sorry for yourself just save both worlds and deal with whatever come your way. Glad Jill is coping and still at the complex. Like Kira a lot
"Great story continuation"
This story is continuing to be entertaining and I was happy to see Rhyskhall redeemed somewhat. The conclusion to this story in the next book should be awesome. Can't wait!
"She keeps surprising me... Thank you ma'am!"
This has become one of my favorite series. It has a little of everything now. There is love, action, murders, demons, a female lead kicking butt, and mystery. I remember when I started this series I didn't expect much. I was pleasantly surprised. But this latest addition to the series goes all out!
Kara is leading the fight against the demons invading earth. She finds herself having to be more than her power will allow. We see Kara move from a faithful to a fault lover into a woman who will make the hard choices. This book does flip back and forth in time. It's my least favorite part. The book does leave me with alot of questions. Keeping in mind
That this is a FANTASY book, it doesn't mean that we can't get a good explanation of why things occur as they do. It can't just be "Because I said so". So when characters just magically come into being from nowhere... then I need a gooD story that makes it possible.
Finally we get some answers on why the Demon Lords have been kept in the dark about their heritage. It goes deeper than we ever imagined. The characters are all fighting a battle within themselves. I find myself still hating some regardless of how sad their back story.
In all, this is a good book. It leaves you guessing and wanting more.
"team too much"
I could not get into this book. ive read the whole series and the last 2 books are bad. I was hoping this one would be the last one in the series. at least some questions were answered. I won't use another credit on this series.
This is one time that I had wished I read the book instead of listening to it and not because of anything wrong with the narration, I love Liv Anderson, she has been consistent with her characters throughout the series and I have loved and looked forward to listening to her. The issue I have is, this world is so complex and it started in the beginning of the series and now 8 books later we are starting to get answers to some of those burning questions. However, do to the complexity of the questions the answers are just as complex. So I find myself in a quandary of not quite grasping everything that has happened or is explained. I plan on re-listening to the book and possible even purchasing the paperback and reading it. I even contemplated holding off doing the review until I went through it a second time.
I was torn how to rate this, because the way I listen to audiobooks I am usually doing other things, driving, getting ready in the am, etc. With Legacy of the Demon you need to give it 100% focus to fully soak up the story and all its nuances. So with the way it stand I am giving the story 4 Boundless stars I like it but I am going to listen or read it again. But as it stands, the story is still full of action, suspense, twists and turns and one seriously kick ass heroin!...Sara
