Time is a very fluid thing, no one really has a grasp on it other than maybe how to measure it. As the maestro of the Day by Day Armageddon Universe, I have the latitude of being in control of that time. I can adjust the slider either direction, moving the timeline back and forth along the continuum. This is one of the perks of creation, the benefit in constructing something (albeit small) from nothing. Sort of makes you wonder what the maestro of the universe is up to, no? You have again stumbled upon a ticket with service through the apocalyptic wastes, but this time the train is a little bit older, a little more beat up, and maybe a little wiser. Keep your doors locked.

A nice quick story to take away the pain between DBDA instalments and cracking new books outside the Universe (Tomorrow War).
Must have for fans of the series!
"What a Kill..."
This was a nice ending to the series (I'm assuming that is the case). I will admit that there were a few minutes where I was pissed, then just sad that there will probably not be more.
Jay is just perfect for this series. I have really enjoyed his reads.
The end sneaks up and parks near your Adams Apple.
Thank you JL Bourne for writing this series. I hope there are more.
"Nice Little Cap To series"
Enjoyed the short little cap off to the series and Closes the story nicely with the connection you've built over the series
"Short closure to the other three books"
Note, this isn't a full "book" like the other reviews have mentioned. It is however the closure to this series, and does a decent job of finishing the series.
I would t recommend to purchase this using a credit but perhaps at a discounted rate if you've already listened /read to the other three books in the series.
"A return to form"
Yes. It was a nice, short, concise conclusion to an interesting series. I like how J.L. Bourne pulled everything together and gave us a vision of what comes next.
I don't know of any. I liked that it was indeed a summary that showed life after the zombie apocalypse.
I have only listened to Jay Snyder in this series. Thought he was very good in books 1 and 2, and this one. I didn't like book 3, but that had more to do with the silly military jargon, bs, lingo than the narrator.
I did listen to it all in one session.
This book was a return to the format and approach used in the first two books, and I like that. I don't know what happened to book 3. Either J.L. Bourne didn't have time to write book and had some hack do it, or he decided to forego the format of the first two books and do a military shoot-em-up, lingo filled, junior high humor filled book. Not good.
This book restored my faith in the series. It was still too expensive, though, for such a short audio book.
"This is not a book, just a short wrap up"
44 minutes total
Nobody, he did just fine with the material
The story was great, just needs to be about 20 times longer
This is not worth the cost of the book, I did not notice the length till it started the download.
"Is there any joy post apocalypse?"
A fine finale to the Day by Day saga. You just can't keep a good man down, even if he is infected..
"Just What I Wanted To Know!!!"
Its always this, a series finishes and you think "What will happen now??". Well, this book is the answer for that question. It showed life afterwards, and how people are living and developing... it was very satisfying to listen to and i'm quite happy with the ending here.
What I don’t like about these story shorts that authors seem to be releasing with abandon is that they are not fulfilling. You bought into a full-sized book and full-sized series and then a short story is forced on you. Also, listening time vs. cost is usually unreasonably high. The story was just okay because it never had time to develop. If there had been more to it, I would have been happier. Luckily, I got it on a half-cost sale, so the price wasn’t too bad.
I have high hopes for "Ghost Run" the next book in the series. I had written this series off and was never going to buy this short, but when a new full-sized book was released, I felt I had to get both as the original two books were AWESOME.
"What the crap?!"
I knew it was going to be short, but what the crap?! I used 5 bucks to find out what happened to everyone and we hardly even found out anything. I won't list what happened. Some other jerk already did that in a review. Just know if you think this is going to "wrap it up" for you, you're wrong. I listened to all the books in the same week, so when I saw this was the ending I really expected more.
"Too short, not enough story."
This story doesn't really add much to the series. Too much focus on the details and painting the scene, not enough story telling. Way too short to get into it. No real substance.
