Book 8 of the Demon Accords.
College. A time of transition from youth to young adulthood. New lessons, new responsibilities, new distractions. A period of life treasured by most. Unless you happen to attend an institute of higher learning where the bullies are werewolves, the teachers are sadists, and the pretty girls are all deadly. A school like that demands a special kind of student, someone with the skills and power to survive. Someone like Declan O'Carroll.

"A great story that keeps you interested"
I liked the part where they played with the golems.
I have listened to the whole series and wish they had the last one available
I must hand it to Mr Cronin he does a truely professional job by bringing all the characters to life and I will look forward to more of his works
Many, both happy and sad the feelings of each lose and the joy of small victories made a very good book
Please don't stop writing these books, Well put together story lines and great performances from the reader.
This series is by far one of the best ive listened 2 a long time. exciting funny and expertly read
"I deducted 1 star out of spite."
I like this book a lot.
I liked seeing several of the younger characters we have been meeting in the series all brought together in College Arcane. I liked several of the new characters, and Chris and Tanya do make more than just a token appearance in the book.
Having said that, the character of Caeco is demoted to a side character by the end of this book, she's quite distant the whole time, and there are at least two girls in this book that i, were I Declan, would have dumped her for in a heartbeat, Rhion being only the most obvious one. That's why I deducted a star. I could forgive everything else, but I liked Declan and Caeco so much in the previous book, and their chemistry all just falls apart here.
Declan's having a sister on his father's side is lampshaded, then introduced, then that plot goes nowhere. I'm hoping his father isn't quite at loathsome as we initially are led to believe, but we will have to see.
I believe the author is trying to set up conflicts for Declan in the future, but having read the next book already, I have to think that most of these dangling plot threads don't matter anymore.
I suppose we will have to keep reading to find out.
nice book builds for new world and character, it gives new look to this fantasy magic and more detail. Looking forward to the new MC.
"Solid Five Star"
I would recommend all my Five star series
This is equivalent to
Butcher, Hearn and jacka
Great story. Not Harry Porter, but a good read just the same. Now on to the rest of the series. Note I read extensively. First time I have written a review, because I think the author deserves support.
well written read the whole series no extra glitter and fairytale shit to ruin the story
"Best book so far!!"
Best book so far!!
I have enjoyed the entire series so far, but this book hands down is the best written.
I hope each book continues to get better.
"story just stopped"
kinda just stopped. I don't feel like story had an ending. ...here is the 20 word min -_-
This series really reminds me of everything that was good about The Old World of Darkness.
I have been a fan of the series but have put off reading this off shoot for a while as I like Chris but I'm really glad I took the plunge and glad I only have to wait until tomorrow for the next one :)
