Great books tho
Really needs a manly voice it’s almost awkward listening to it needs to be reread from a deep gritty voice as it sounds like a 14 year old boy reading it and it’s off putting so I’m changing to just reading

Perfect distraction
I like the build up to the potential of others story of this kind the cow boy vibe is interesting I would suggest this to other I know like this type of story telling.

The story line was pretty good but the narrator was very flat, rushing at times and seemed like she was bored with it at times....not the best.

Ok listen
The story was fine and I mostly enjoyed it. The performance of the narrator wasn’t great though. If you’re only going to have one narrator for male and female parts I feel like they need to be better at doing different voices or not bother trying to differentiate. It just didn’t work.

shouldn't have done it
Suzanne Wright is the only author that I have read in regards to shifters. and i wish i hadn't picked this one up. it's eye rolling and totally, you gotta be joking!
I can only say it's a huuuuuge "on the lighter side" of shifter romances and there is more sex than story here...... i like a good bit of sizzle in a book but this goes to places I don't really want to hear.
the heroine seems to just accept, that "hey the hunk of a man/rodeo cowboy, is a shifter" like it's water off a ducks back. nope couldn't get into it. maybe because Suzanne Wright has spoilt me with good plotline plausible situations and good steam.
I've listened to Kylie Stewart begore and enjoyed her narration but in this one, no way, it was awful. the inflections were hardly there and the hero, being a shifter, her voice tone didnt change, it was all kinds of wrong.
I love series books and was ready to settle in but it just doesn't work for me...to light on plausibility, wrong voice and shallow storyline. for me nothing could save this book.
But if your into whimsical shifter stories, over the top sex scenes and don't mind a wolf sounding like a girl, then this is up your alley.
