"Fantastic, Dallas Willard brings great clarity"
A brilliant exposition on a lost practice within mainstream Christianity. Dallas Willard has brought clarity to a sometimes mysterious topic and brings it to a practical level in day to day life.
"Great Book, Great Audio"
great book, great audio read. love everything about this book. Everything Christian should this. It will a wake up call.
"actualization with a Christian veneer"
I did not finish listening to the book. I did listen for a while hoping it would get better, and in the end, I decided I could spend my time in better ways. in the history of Christianity, the greatest gift we have received is God himself, his empowering presence through his Spirit, thanks to Jesus' blood sacrifice making us able to house this Holiness. Yet this book is centered on man and the position we're given. Very little communication about the one empowering. I was reminded of the self actualization in Christian form. More needs to be said on walking in the Presence.
"Ted Waring Port Elizabeth"
Narration clear and detail balanced yet engaging, encouraging us to become followers of Christ fulfilling the great commisson by including the great ommission - our bodily disciplines - allowing us by His grace to walk by the Spirit in obedience. The audio version has helped me to repeat important parts so that I could understand more easily.
"More than I thought"
This book has I lot of deep thought that must be thought through. I am going to listen to a few more times to absorb it all. Good book, made an impact.
