You've probably noticed....
Churches aren't growing.
Young adults are walking away.
Volunteers are hard to recruit.
Leaders are burning out.
And the culture is changing faster than ever before.
There's no doubt the church is in a moment in history for which few church leaders are prepared.
You can look for answers, but the right response depends on having the right conversation.
In Lasting Impact, Carey Nieuwhof leads you and your team through seven conversations that will help your church grow and have a lasting impact.
Maybe the future belongs to the churches that are willing to have the most honest conversations at a critical time. That's what Lasting Impact is designed to facilitate.

"Great for anyone in a church setting"
This is a great read. It's bullet points and discussion questions make it easier to set goals and determine where your organization is.
"Great all encompassing book"
It covers so many areas in which the church can have problems with. Everything from burnt out leaders, problems with volunteers, to why young people are leaving. It is read by the author which is great because I am used to listening to his podcasts already. The audio also has extras that the book doesn't. Excellent listen.
"Extraordinary book for real church leaders"
Carey does a great job in providing insightful, deep subject matters for real deep dive conversations within the church. But the most important part is that he adds so much more content that you won't find in the book. A must read for a church that wants to grow.
This book is amazing yet quite challenging to the status quo. The author offers great questions with reasonable solutions. I found the book to be practical, helpful, & insightful.
"Very insightful and practical"
Excellent ideas and attitude. Great to pass on ideas already to others. Really liked the extras in the audio too
Carey is insanely smart and has a heart for the Church, the unchurched, and church leadership!
"Piratical and useful"
This is what you get when someone who is not just a consultant but a consumer of what he's teaching writes. This is one of the best books I've laid my hands on about the Church's lasting impact.
"Fresh look at church change"
author did a good job of laying out the specific steps 2 effective change in a church environment with pitfalls denoted with positive how outcomes
"Difficult but good "
Difficult at times to follow due to continueous sub-lists created throughout book. All good/valuable information, just it gets more difficult to listen to as opposed to having a physical book. Will probably not use audible for these types of books.
Also I found myself really feeling overwhelmed with the material. Kept thinking, "man our church so much to do". Will pass on info to leaders at my church. Carey - Thanks for this difficult but valuable information in your book.
"A Must read for all church leaders"
Lasting impact is grade A mentoring for pastoral leadership. The insights and principles Carey shares are the kind of specific helps that many church leaders are desperate to find. Not everyone has direct access to a great mentor who has "been there, done that" and can provide that kind of insight and instruction. Lasting impact makes top level church leadership knowledge available to anyone who is willing to read it. Thanks Carey, this was most helpful! (Brent Ingersoll/lead pastor/ Kings Valley Church)
