C. J. Mahaney raises a battle cry to daily, diligently, and deliberately weaken our greatest enemy (pride) and cultivate our greatest friend (humility). His thorough examination clarifies misconceptions, revealing the truth about why God detests pride and turns His active attention to the humble.
Because pride is never passive, defeating it demands an intentional attack. The blessing that follows is God's abundant favor.

"This book is profound"
Great book! I think everyone who professes Christianity should read it. It has given me a new perspective on humility. I never realized just how prideful I am.
awesome! a must read! jam packed with rich heartbreaking truths! listen.... amd then listen again.
This book was fantastic I listen to it now twice I'd like to listen to it again and again
"An easy to Follow Walkthrough on Humility!"
CJ Mahaney nails a great overview on humility. It's an overview that isn't too weighty theologically. He covers some areas of Humility I hadn't previously thought about. This book is peppered with some light humor and personal stories. I recommend this to anyone who is looking to understand Biblical Humility Better.
Also, I enjoyed the voice of the Reader!
"An Excellent, Down-To-Earth Talk About Humility"
This is a very good book that focuses on understanding and developing a humble spirit. It is well written and contains depth of insight. The reader does a great job at presenting in a quiet, gentle manner that adds to the listening experience.
More practical ideas on how to be humble and defeat pride. Like,
"Too Bible focused"
Super biased toward Bible info for me. Instead of being for everyone, it's more oriented toward only Christians. I was hoping it would be more on humility in general
"You Will be Humbled"
Some great nuggets of wisdom in the book. Serves more like reminders than great revelations. When the author tells you that "this is an important chapter" if you have pride you may be irritated, other the humble will be even more humbled!
the book made me see humility from a different angle. showed we are truly nothing without God's grace.
