Alan Watts discusses the fundamental attitudes that run through all religions or "ways of liberation," as the Far Eastern disciplines might better be described.
By following these practices to the extremes of repentance, rebellion, and resignation, one may be freed from the endless cycles of reincarnation which perpetuate the human condition.

an amazing man, a brilliant lecturer.
Alan Watts makes you stop and think in your tracks.
When you realise these lectures were conducted in the 70's, but have just as much if not more relevance today than then.
It proves human nature, unless you look at the past and learn from it, will continue along the same track of destruction both as an individual and a society.
"Alan Watts is just the best at explaining reality."
Loved it. I never get bored when I am listening to Alan Watts. I have listened to many who say that these ideas cannot be put into words because words are not available to make it clear, but Watts is capable of crafting the explanation. He makes it clear and easy to comprehend. If you have never heard him speak you are in for an enlightening experience.
"A modern day Socrates"
For what it's worth I hold a Bachelors in Religious Studies and I would recommend Alan Watts as one of the best sources for genuine wisdom to any modern seeker
"Must must hear this."
Head-turning, thought provoking, mind boggling, common sense turned on its head.
Must must hear this even if the sound quality is not perfect.
Will listen over and over again. Outstanding. Wish I had heard this when I was younger.
