Publisher's Summary

After exploring a series of recently discovered portals leading to other worlds, Nathan Grey and members of the League of Allied Worlds uncover evidence linking the mysterious past of Nathan's late father to an ancient alien ship buried under the city of Tabula Rasa. From there Nathan and the crew of the LAW Morning Star are led to the hidden planet of Adaria. There they encounter a small group of inhabitants who claim to be descendants of a mythical race called the Ancestors.

Nathan becomes close to an Adarian named Asahra, who is convinced that he and the others were sent by the Ancestors to save their planet from an ancient enemy called the Reezzars. When the Adarians' fear of an attack becomes a reality, Nathan is forced to do the impossible to save them. But when he and Asahra are captured by the Reezzars, Nathan calls upon the unlikeliest of allies to put an end to the enemy's quest to obtain a weapon powerful enough to destroy hundreds of worlds.
