SAVE THE WORLD OR END IT ...

A BRAND NEW SERIES from the multimillion-copy, #1 New York Times bestselling author of Red Queen, as seen on TikTok...

A strange darkness is growing in the Ward. Even Corayne an-Amarat can feel it, tucked away in her small town at the edge of the sea.

Fate knocks on her door, in the form of a mythical immortal and a lethal assassin, who tell Corayne that she is the last of an ancient lineage - with the power to save the world from destruction.

Because a man who would burn kingdoms to the ground is raising an army unlike any seen before, bent on uprooting the foundations of the world. With poison in his heart and a stolen sword in his hand, he'll break the realm itself to claim it.

And only Corayne can stop him.

Alongside an unlikely group of reluctant allies, Corayne finds herself on a desperate journey to complete an impossible task, with untold magic singing in her blood and the fate of the world on her shoulders.

Realm Breaker is the first book in an epic new series and an instant #1 New York Times Bestseller! Perfect for fans of THE CRUEL PRINCE, SIX OF CROWS and THE HUNGER GAMES - don't miss the next instalment in the series, Blade Breaker.

Good story, average narration

Narrator's accents were not consistent which was quite distracting and at times hard to follow

Promising female leads , good bones but slow start

It's a slow burning book. It takes a while to establish the world. But it has good bones and a great start for book 2 which will be more action packed

Mediocre

I struggled to get through this book. I couldn't imagine myself having that to say about it during my extreme excitement leading up to the release but here we are. Tedious is the most accurate word that comes to mind having finished the long, arduous task.
I think a large factor that made me feel so disconnected from the novel and characters is the odd performance from the narrator. I really couldn't stand the seemingly random accents and shifts throughout the audiobook.
