Now they must leave behind everything they've ever known and flee - before the Tsar's Stalkers pick up their trail. Pretty average honestly
Well, there is nothing wrong with this book, but none of it really impressed me. The plot was pretty cliche, I figured out the big twist ending like 2 hours before it happened. There is only one caracter that really has an arc, the rest are pretty stagnant. The guy who is supposed to be the driving force of the plot is basically just a mcguffin with no will of his own and bearly even has any dialogue.
Speaking of dialogue, the narrator is... fine. A good narrator has me looking for other books they have done because I want to hear more from them. A bad one has me avoiding them. I don't even remember this guys name. Perfectly mediocre.
Overall, the book is fine. It's short enough to not outstay its welcome, so if you have nothing else to do, you can wast some time on this. But there are better books out there.
