Since the beginning of COVID 19, Amy's life changed radically. For a 10-year-old girl, it has been a tough, scary year. Her parents decided she could spend all five days of spring break at Gramma and Granddaddy's house. She was excited to spend a lot of time outside in their big backyard.
The very first morning, Amy woke early, pulled on her jeans and hoodie, grabbed her iPod, and raced outside to explore on her own. She went to Gramma's favorite tree. It was hollow with a lot of character, as Gramma would say. Amy turned on the video app on her iPod, stuck her hand inside the hollow tree to film what was inside. Then the magic happened. Lucky for Amy those recorded first few minutes proved the magic was real! What happened after the video would be an epic adventure in Gramma's backyard. Amy shared every moment with her friends. Even Gramma and Granddaddy, squirrels, bobcats, and a ladybug got in on the magic. But, don't forget, "what happens in Gramma's backyard stays in Gramma's backyard".
