Interesting look at the effect of covert trauma
For me, this book was OK - no fault of the author, but with diagnosis of CPTSD it was harder to connect with some of the content targeting more covert and subtle forms of behaviour or events that cause trauma. I like her introduction of soul mirrors, that has been great food for thought for me to think of what soul mirror I have encountered and what they mean to me. This book would be great for anyone who feels like they experienced something that felt traumatic for them and have been told by other people (or yourself) it wasn't so bad and you should just get over it - if that's you, give this book a go.
