Publisher's Summary

Missy returns to West Point after her semester at the Naval Academy. Things all seem to go nicely at first. Her mobster buddies are no longer causing problems. Things in the Middle East are winding down, and the US will be withdrawing its troops later that year. Everyone is watching how the new administration in the US will be handling things.

The transition team does have concerns, however. Once they discover supernaturals exist and how some of them have been helping defend the country, their initial reaction is to seek some rules for engagement. Missy is so powerful that they consider her to be a weapon of mass destruction which must be controlled.

The new defense secretary asks Missy to use her teleporting ability to do some more spying. What threats might there be from secret nuclear programs being carried out by their enemies? What will she find? And what will she be asked to do about it?
