Story
Dr. Michael Guillen, a best-selling author, Emmy award-winning journalist and former physics instructor at Harvard, used to be an atheist ― until science changed his mind. Once of the opinion that people of faith are weak, small-minded folks who just don’t understand science, Dr. Guillen ultimately concluded that not only does science itself depend on faith, but faith is actually the mightiest power in the universe.

Story
To some, the concept of having faith in a higher power or a set of religious beliefs is nonsensical. Indeed, many view religion in general, and Christianity in particular, as unfounded and unreasonable. Norman Geisler and Frank Turek argue, however, that Christianity is not only more reasonable than all other belief systems, but is indeed more rational than unbelief itself. With conviction and clear thinking, Geisler and Turek guide listeners through some of the traditional, tested arguments for the existence of a creator God.

Story
Fear is the primary reason we fail to share the gospel with our friends, family, and coworkers. We're afraid of looking weird or out of touch. We're afraid we won't have the right answers to their questions. We're afraid that if they reject the gospel, they're really rejecting us. We don't want to make things awkward or strain our relationships. So we say nothing because our discomfort feels bigger than our loved ones' ultimate destination if they remain outside of the body of Christ. We know it's not, but it's just so hard to get over our fear.

Excellent and thorough exposition of Christian Faith
- By Kindle Customer on 25-04-2024
Publisher's Summary
With the recent wave of books on atheism becoming New York Times best sellers, the God debate is heating up. Because of the implications, it's the most significant question of all time: Is there a God, or isn't there? In this compelling book, Ray Comfort argues the case with simple logic and common sense. If there is a God, surely he has made his presence known so that anyone, young or old, scholar or schoolchild, can find him.
By applying basic logic to three clear evidences for the existence of God, Comfort will help you examine the case for evolution and see what top scientists are really saying about the theory, explore the facts that led the world's most notorious atheist to acknowledge a creator, and investigate the evidence to discover who God is through 100 percent scientific proof.

Unconvincing
As a Christian: unfortunately, very unconvincing. Ray Comfort struggles with presenting a logical argument.

Intellectually unsophisticated
This isn't going to convert an intellectual atheist into a believer. I question whether it would even bolster faith in an intelligent believer. Weak arguments poorly stated.

Rubbish
I’m a believer, but this is rubbish. Very simplistic rhetoric targeted to those that may not have a decent grasp of scientific principles. These are the kind of rhetorical arguments I would expect from my 8 year old child. If the existence of god could be proven by scientific principles it would not be called “faith”. Stop trying.
