His code name is Mr Clark. And his work for the CIA is brilliant, cold-blooded, and efficient...but who is he really? In a harrowing tour de force, Tom Clancy shows how an ordinary man named John Kelly crossed the lines of justice and morality - to become the CIA legend, Mr Clark.
This is an unforgettable journey into the heart of darkness. Without mercy. Without guilt. Without remorse.

"My First Tom Clancy Book"
Without Remorse was the first Tom Clancy book I've ready. It was very refreshing to read a new style and type of story line.
The audio quality was easily the worst I've heard though. Very unclear and little or no expression from the narrator.
The voice was unclear and rather expressionless when compared to all the other Audible books I've listened to.
"John Clark before CIA"
The creation of CIA agent John Kelly AKA John Clark and the drug dealers and sex slavers getting what they deserve.
Yes I have but I will not rate his performance as one of the best as he is just to monotonous.
Yes as you just want to know how John Kelly will make the Dealers and slavers pay.
"Listen to sample before deciding to purchased"
First audible purchase ever returned ,the reason being poor sound quality and dull narration. I do realise that like or dislike of a narrators style can be highly subjective though so I would urge all would be purchasers to listen to a sample before deciding to buy but as for for me the dull monotone style in which this title was read coupled with muffled sound quality made, what should have been a fast paced thriller, into an incredibly dull experience .
"Performance a little wooden."
Great story. It kept me engaged to the end once I got used to the narration.
Amazing from start to finish recommended it to everyone that enjoy tom Clancy books and can't wait to listen to the next book
"Sound quality an issue"
Great story, well narrated but the sound quality is very poor sounds like it was recorded on tape.
I thought that it was a damn good yarn. Had to keep listening in short bursts...
"Everyone has a beginning"
Unsure I have not read the printed edition. I enjoyed listening to this but if books had a rating, this is definitely an 18.
The story was tight and well woven, narration was a bit dead pan.
It was really enjoyable hearing the start of such an iconic character.
I think I enjoyed the main character the most. Kelly / Clark.
Well it was a gritty novel. There were times i wish i could jump ahead a few pages but being audio this was hard to do. Some of the crime descriptions like rape, and so on were particularly too full on the details.
I will certainly try out book number 2.
I would hope the author calms down a bit on the graphical descriptions in future books.
"muffled audio doesn't spoil a fantastic story "
muffled audio doesn't spoil a great story. not a bad reading, just sounds like the microphone had too much damping on it
"Unavailable to review"
Apologises but the narrators voice was to harsh and annunciation was erratic . I couldn't listen to the story.
from the first to the last word, exactly All I expected from tom clancey
Kelley is a bad ass and a male slut love it good story plenty of killing on the down side not as mush special ops as some of the book
