This book is one of the best books I have ever read on nutrition and health. It is completely unbiassed in its approach and has studies to back up all of its findings. It reinforced and expanded on much of what I already knew about how we are manipulated by the food and pharmaceutical industries. We cannot rely on even the government to inform us honestly about what is good for us and bad for us. We must educate ourselves if we want to live a long and healthy and happy life. I had heard about the China study and was looking forward to some helpful nutritional research. Although I totally agree that we need to add more whole plant foods to our diets (LOTS more), I found this presentation strident and more about food politics than diet.
Also, there was no ancillary material, even though it is referenced throughout the book.
