I don't have a background in triathlon. I was held back in swimming lessons growing up, I didn't own a bike and I only ran if someone was chasing me. In my first triathlon I ever competed in, I got three flat tires, quit the race, and spent 30 minutes crying on the side of the road, waiting for the "sag wagon" to come pick me up.
Not the ideal introduction to the sport.
Fast forward to the present, where I've completed five Ironman and countless other triathlons. I don't say this to brag or impress you, only to emphasize that if I can do it - anybody can do it.
Triathlon has changed my life and I've been privileged to coach 50+ athletes to a 98% PR rate in races ranging from 5Ks to ultra marathons to Ironmans. I've done it through my own trial and error and experiences in what works...and what doesn't. Rest assured - there are a handful of simple, yet essential, tips in triathlon that will make or break your success in the sport.
In this book, you get the goods. You'll receive not only the 50 Best Tips ever for Triathlon Swimming, Biking and Running, you'll also have instant access to videos and strategies to:
It doesn't matter if you're just starting out or if you're an experienced triathlete - this book will maximize your time, energy, fitness, and enjoyment in the sport of triathlon.

"Not worth the time or cost"
There was one tip about weight distribution on the bike that was a reasonable tip. most everything else is very beginner.
Most of the tips are ok (not great tips, and surely not the best tips) although a few are downright wrong. The entire performance sounds like the author sat down in a room and said whatever came to mind for a couple of hours, then sold it as a book. It sounds like a podcast, not like something I should be paying money for. The content was about on par with a podcast as well, awesome gems that I could have found on the triathlon pinterest board.
"what's so funny?"
If you're a triathlete, you've probably heard all these "tips" before, but it serves as a good refresher. Worth a listen if you can bear the constant laughing (which I barely could)
"Worth EVERY penny!"
Loved all the in depth information that Scott provided. I'm looking into training for my first thiathlon in 2017 and was looking for information and stumbled upon this treasure chest of information. I think that anyone interested in either running, biking or becoming a triathlete will benefit from giving this audible a listen. Very pleased.
loved it..every time I need motivation and tips , I listen to it. enjoy it
"Decent info, passionate, but did not like voice over"
The reader laughed/giggled almost every other sentence, which got into my head and bothered me the rest of the book. Pretty good info for the length
"I'm a newbie tri"
Loved the info in this book, was easy to listen too, almost like Scott was right there giving me awesome advice!
Already noticed huge improvement on my bike and run!
Super happy and feeling more confident for my first tri this August!
"-Warning- This is essentially a podcast, not an audiobook"
The laughing that the author does while reading is unbearable, it caused me to actively swear at my radio countless times. The author clearly went into the studio and spoke for 3 hours and didn't bother to edit the recording. That being said, the tips are worthwhile, I listened to this book after my second triathlon and it was very informative. I would recommend reading this book, not listening.
Great detail for a short book. Really inspired me to get into triathlons, can't wait to do my first one!
This audio book gave me some good info to get me ready for it It wasn't the best performed or written book but this book gave me the info I was looking for and I'll probably listen to it again before the race
A lot of great practical tips. Good for newbies and athletes need refresher. Some motivations too. Thank you!
