I think there are some good take aways to learn in this book, but alot of the time it felt like you were listening to a big ad for other michelle bridges products. Multiple times through the book she (Michelle) reads out customer comments of her 12WBT program. I was a little disappointed to be honest.
While she is a one-of-a-kind, sheer persistent and extremely a hard working lady (that 99% of us could not be) the lessons in this book are clear and doable. She gives a lot of her own life story in a most natural and authentic way but at the same time shines through in wanting to help and motivate people and providing lots of tips to do so, much of it an attitude adjestment. She also mentions the benefits of sleep, relaxation, relationships and how much disease and distress can be prevented by good health. ie new facts we may not have considered. An easy to listen to good, satisfying and inspiring book without being dry or too deep.
I learned a great amount from this book. Not only about healthy living, but how to Just Fricken Do It. Stop procrastinating, in all aspects of life.
I liked the upbeat narration. Michelle has the potential to inspire others, however her book is more autobiography than self-help. There are few action steps one can follow. A lot of advice is common sense, mostly about working out, and it tends to be repetitive.
Michelle has clearly always been an active, engaged person with a strong desire to succeed in the world of fitness. Those with emotional or motivational struggles may not find her advice to "just get on and do it" all that helpful.

A lot of psycho babble claptrap. Best part of book was listening to some Australian expressions . Would not recommend.
