Jan Chozen Bays, MD - physician and Zen teacher - has developed a series of simple practices to help us cultivate mindfulness as we go about our ordinary, daily lives. Exercises include: taking three deep breaths before answering the phone, noticing and adjusting your posture throughout the day, eating mindfully, and leaving no trace of yourself after using the kitchen or bathroom. Each exercise is presented with tips on how to remind yourself and a short life lesson connected with it.

Best way understand and begin to practice Mindfulness that I've seen. Also gets you to the point where a realistic meditation practice could begin.
This book is full of maxims, aphorisms of mindfulness. It's written to assist and keep one on the path to enlightenment. Interestingly, you'll find, if you're already "practising", that you've already experienced most of what is beong read. Therefore, it becomes gratifying to know that the path you're walking is genuinely beneficial to you and indirectly everything. Be well, happy and peaceful.
"Keeping in the present"
Some good insight into mindfulness, things we take for granted in our daily lives. .
Great book. Picked up some good tips. Would definitely recommend purchasing. Everyone should work on being in the present place
This is an audio book that I will return to playing many times. Well read by author.
