A clever concept but lacks any depth
This book isn’t old, and yet it doesn’t address any of the more recent - and arguably more damaging - challenges that have arisen from social media and it’s commerce channels. Nor does it tempt to predict any. From that lens, it felt like a lot of obvious points were made, rather than breaking any new ground. While listening, I kept thinking; ‘who is this book for?’ Perhaps those who are not really on social media? I can’t say. But I would skip it if you are a journalist, involved in culture, marketing or any kin industries.
